What is Your average Return on your Investment?

3

Hey, I’m trying to get an idea of what a typical investment yields as profit… I was hoping you guys could share with me what your average return on investment’s is.

Please include what type of investment it was also, 401k, longterm stock, short term, daytrading, swing trading, etc.

THANK YOU!!!

About me: I’ve been a little confused because I have heard figures of like 10% yearly return. But this is my first year investing and I have a 70% return, I started with $1000 dollars and now I have $1700 total, so $700 profit. My style of trading is Swing Trading.

I heard swing traders sometimes see 20-30% return yearly.. either way my dad was like blown away and he wants me to invest a portion of his money now. I think I should be able to keep this up because my strategy is working really good and I can never lose more then 7% of my capital in any given period with the money management system I’ve been using.

I hope you guys can let me know if this is a normal return. thanks again!

You are doing good. Very good. Most traders lose money! I also trade in my fathers account. You should check my site out and think about becoming a stock guru. You trade against big money and robots. Why do you expect return ?
Invest in real business. Modern markets are casino-type of game. Your broker is the main winner in this game.
